Athlete Multi-Sports Backpack in Purple

Gift for teenage basketball player. Good backpack for basketball in center of bag, sneakers on the bottom section when packed like in a sneaker box, and a handful of extra items for smaller section on the top. Good size and color saturation, no fading. Durable and wears comfortably. Good value.

We've gone through a few different bags in our first softball/baseball season with 3 kids aged 7-11 and this is one of the favorites. The only big con is that it's a little loose structured so it doesn't stand up on its own very well, but once it's full of gear (especially a bat) that's easily remedied. Other than that, all pros! It is sturdy and durable, has lots of storage space for all the different "things", and the bat pockets actually make sense (that seems obvious, but you'd be surprised how weird/nonsensical they can make those compartments). My favorite part is the extra pocket on top so that the helmet/masks can go in the middle, shoes in the bottom, and all the other "things" have a dedicated spot at the top so we're not digging around Mary Poppins-style. That top compartment fits batting gloves, sliding glove, sunflower seeds, water bottle -- pretty much anything smaller than the helmet! I really like this bag and hope it comes out in some more interesting colors so we can differentiate between the different kiddos. This will also work for other sports and travel, which is another big win for us.

This is my bag for gym day. I had been using my old swimming backpack, which is roomy but unlike this one, doesn’t maintain any sort of shape and doesn’t have many pockets. I can fit shoes in here (size 12) clothes, towels, all with no problem. The material and zippers seem to be high quality—I’ll update my review if I learn otherwise.
