I purchased this backpack in metallic silver for a school supplies giveaway at my church. It is lightweight but still feels sturdy and well made. I ordered this backpack for my 4 1/2 year-old granddaughter who started pre-K this year and who loves mermaids! The purple color is so beautiful and looks kind of opalescent with the fade from purple to blue throughout. If you need a backpack with extra organization and complete separation for a 15" laptop, this is a great backpack. It has a very squared shape which maximizes its dimensions for airline travel. Speaking of travel, it also has a a panel on the back that you can slip over the handle of a roller bag. For young kids, the squared shape makes it easier to fit in folders/binders without having to compensate with a too-big bag. My average sized 6.5 year old is modeling it in the photos and it is a great size on him without swallowing up. There's a thinner back pocket for laptop but you could also use it for a book or binder. The main pocket is roomier with a thin full-size pocket. The front smaller area has an organizer area. More features include 2 elasticized water bottle pockets, padded straps, adjustable chest strap. The fabric color is really pretty and interesting without being something that will be dated when the kid grows. We have a Jworld roller bag and I find the fabric and zippers they use to be quite durable. I think its great value for the money and a quality backpack.

I ordered this backpack because I've been due for a new one and decided to pick this one up.

It is on the smaller side which is why I got it. It will definitely be able to carry a laptop of 13" and whatever else you need to bring along. The front pocket has a pen and cards storage area. On the luggage strap on the back of it has a small pocket along with pockets on the side and an additional off centered strap on the shoulder straps.

I do recommend this backpack to anyone looking for a new slightly smaller backpack. And they come in different colors as well to suit your taste.
