I purchased this backpack in metallic silver for a school supplies giveaway at my church. It is lightweight but still feels sturdy and well made. The stitching looks good and the zippers open and close smoothly. I really like all the pockets because they make it easy to keep school supplies organized. The padded laptop compartment is a nice bonus and gives extra protection. It has plenty of room for books, notebooks, a water bottle, and everyday essentials without feeling bulky. The luggage sleeve is also a thoughtful feature for anyone who travels. The metallic silver color is pretty, although the mermaid print appears more blue in person than purple online. Overall, this is a practical and attractive backpack that offers a lot for the price.

I ordered this backpack for my 4 1/2 year-old granddaughter who started pre-K this year and who loves mermaids! The purple color is so beautiful and looks kind of opalescent with the fade from purple to blue throughout. The mermaid scales really give it a subtle mermaid tail effect, which my granddaughter loves. She was so excited to wear it to her first day of school! My granddaughter is big for her age, but I have to say this backpack works so well for her size wise; since it has a chest strap, it stays up very well while she is walking to school. It is generously sized, yet very lightweight. Her water bottle fits perfectly in the side pocket. The straps feel durable as well as the buckles, and it is well stitched. This is well worth the $31.99 price tag at the time of this review.

This backpack is really good quality. My daughter has several bags from this brands and they are all long lasting with pretty prints. There are plenty of storage pockets and lots of room to store all your things. It's pretty light when it's empty but is made well and is perfect for my elementary school kids.
